It has a seam that runs along the bottom and top of the tank. This is thin, brittle plastic, the seams crack and leak after only a few months of use.

Ge says they don't warranty parts that are sold by amazon. Disputed with the cc company instead. At this cost, it's probably not worth the hassle of chasing a warranty.
