I should mention that i saved a ton of money ordering both those parts on amazon instead of from an "official ge parts" style web site.

Accessories came in the box i don't need them at all.

After i received the ice maker i opened the box expecting a knock-off, but was pleasantly surprised when i noticed it seemed genuine.

Competitiveness

This is the exact same product as the original manufacturer product.

I was going to buy a generic one, but decided on the ge brand after the fit looked suspicious on the knock offs.

I used the oem, as opposed to an aftermarket, only because i wasn't 100% sure an aftermarket was an exact fit.

Luckily, ge made this a very easy item to change out.
