Pros

It melts the ice, and keeps it melted. Highly recommended if you are experiencing the same problem. Always check to see how warm the ice and water outlets are.

Cons

The root of the problem is the door is getting moisture in it and freezing around the line. I have a ge fridge which has the same problem with the water line freezing up.

Barely noticeable. The little snap on connectors are a bad joke and a total waste of energy. Save yourself $45. Try that first.

Our ge side-by-side fridge had an issue with the water line freezing.

Although i'm disappointed that ge didn't take care of this since it is a know problem with the side by side refrigerators.

The product works great, but the wire clips don't work super well.
