Pros

You can use a hair dryer to defrost your coils and most likely get your freezer to stay cold until the part arrives. Defrosting the coils with an dryer took an hour. Replacing a single element with a double element just requires you to reroute 1 wire.... Read More

Easy to install works as described perfect fit you can't go wrong good purchase.

After about 12 months,the knock off failed.

After defrosting the the coils the heater takes just a few minutes to install.

Price

Great price - about half the price of other sites.

This solved the problem and wasn't too expensive.

One inexpensive one from a general vendor and one claimed genuine one from amazon directly, 3 times more expensive.

I read a bunch of reviews, watched a few youtube videos and did the following: 1) buy ge oem parts (the kit for $19 is garbage!
