I appreciate that the manufacturer, gearit, has their email address and phone number with 8:30-5:30 customer service.
The rj-45 connector is not the best, but it is what is expected at this price point.

The only downside is that the plastic is rather stiff making it more difficult to press the clip down when you need to remove the cable from the equipment it is plugged into

The snag free cables like this can be a bit of a pain to deal with as you have to really mach on the covertab to get them loose

These cables are not any worse than others in that aspect and to me having the covers to deal with is much preferable to needing to throw cables away because the retainer
