A night and day comparison to the elastic band style. Sturdy and rock solid. Overall satisfied with the design. It's amazing and cheaper than it’s competitor product.

Super pleased with the gearlock mount. That's how much i love it! Awesome mount. Ordered a second one for another bike. Have them on 2 of my bikes.

Cons

Buyer beware, quality is not that good. Total piece of junk. Nothing more than slow speeds on perfect concrete is what this mount can handle.
