Pros

Goodwrench ratchet is a good value for $45. Goodwrenches ratchets are not the top, but you will be surprised at just how good they are. It's the first ratchet i reached for when i serviced my ac system, fuel lines, and recently the clutch hydraulics o...  Read More

It feels good in the hand, too, i like the handle shape and the slick full polish. The action works easily and the head is narrow and shallow enough to get into tight areas. The slim head fits well in tight spots.

The tool is a good length, the tooth count just right and the narrow profile has been a life saver. Unlike the snap-on, the drag on the gearing is much lighter, and works significantly better once a bolt/nut is free spinning.

Cons

Bought one for a conveyor job and broke after a month. If any more failures with the reversing switch, this tool gets a free trip back to the amazon warehouse. Taiwan trash. All the 15 handle ratchets sold through amazon look used.

Quality

High quality tool, feels good in the hand and the slim head fits well in tight spots.

The tool is a good length, the tooth count just right and the narrow profile has been a life saver when working in tight spaces.

Still working 6+ months later after heavy use and abusing it a few times like a breaker bar after i bent the breaker bar.

This ratchet gives me that warm fuzzy feeling even the top tools from the tool trucks don't.

Price

Great price and smooth action for a $45 ratchet.

I have a great deal of $ invested in tools.

I paid $22 for this 3/8” ratchet and i couldn’t be happier with it.

Glad i spent a few extra bucks.

Shipping

The product is as advertised - delivery was prompt.

Competitiveness

Significantly better than most other brand of tool.

While there is no comparison to the snap-on products, i am so glad i purchased the gearwrench.

I've used many different brands of fine tooth ratchets.

So far, after 4 months, this ratchet has performed as well as if not better than any comparable item i ever bought off of a too...  Read More

A lot of ordinary 3834 drive ratchets are not very long and if you need extra leverage you dont always want to reach for the breaker bar
