Pros & Cons
Pros
Has become my go to ratchet. I'm no pro mechanic, but i've been wrenching on my own vehicles for 40 years.
Lock up in the head feels solid and engages more with more pressure. Only downfall is the detent for the flex head can be a little weak.
The only problem i have is the 3/8 drive socket catch pin looks like it's missing a spring? This set (3/8 & 1/4) comes with a convenient eva foam storage tray.
Cons
This 1/4 ratchet has its weaknesses. The flex head mechanism uses rather large increments between consecutive settings and seems very unstable when operating at an angle.
Highlights
Quality
Smooth operation flex handle adds to ease of use in tight locations with plenty of leverage
I love the ease of use, very helpful to have the flex head, and they are well made and have a great warranty
Im surprised the handle hasnt chipped, fallen off, or started to peel even after being ran over on the alignment rack by trucks... Read More
This tool gets tossed on the floor, ran over, and soaked in solvents and oil.
Price
For the price, you really can’t beat this.
Not sure if there is any other major differences, but it's a great ratchet, and the quality for the price is unbeatable.
Idk if it’s better then the 90teethi’ll update this if it fails, otherwise it’s a steal at >$40
Way cheaper than the fancy name ones but very smooth and comfortable.
Packaging/appearance
Handle arrived yellow instead of red, and the backdrag could be better.
I got one with the yellow handle, not the red as shown on the website picture.
Competitiveness
The only difference between gearwrench and craftsman is the number of turning teeth.

My biggest complaint is that the yellow handle shows dirt too easily and it breaks my heart being such a nice ratchet

Fine ratchet but the flex head does not lock in place instead relying on the teeth to keep it in place which isnt the best as it doesnt take a lot of force to move the head out of place
