Pros & Cons
Pros
Used on my 2007 infiniti fx35. The spark plugs are a fairly long reach on my kia. Made quick work of all 16 spark plugs on my jeep grand cherokee.
This set with the swivel and magnetic socket is a huge time saver. Swivel heads help with v8 or boxer 4 motors.
Magnetic spark plug sockets are light years ahead of the old rubber retaining boot style. There's an o-ring and magnet to held keep the plug in the socket and hold it steady for re-insertion.
Cons
The 6 socket was jacked up again, no magnetic collar. Will not work on 2013-14 toyota corolla. I contacted gearwrench and they were not much help.
Highlights
Quality
I was really surprised by the quality of the tools.
Quality seems top notch but i won’t be using it everyday either.
Combine the swivel with the magnet that holds the plug firmly and you've got a fool-proof way to change spark plugs.
Competitiveness
Having all three extentions in their storage case big plus.
I seen a similar kit on the tool truck for triple the price.
