The aesthetics of this filament are incredible - the colors are vivid and change rapidly with extrusion direction. The tri color aspect produces stunning gradient effects. The blend of the three metallic colors makes any print pop and stand out.

This review is for the red/gold/purple tri-color silk filament. It has an amazing sheen and not soft at all. Unlike other silk filaments i've used, this one has a more subdued sheen.

Geeetech pla filament is so fun to work with. Love it. It looks awesome. It's like magic. Most of the time it's for practical purposes.

Cons

Ebony wood looks more like a matte black than anything wood-like. The filament is extremely brittle. If there is carbon fiber it's in the form of powder which really does nothing for your strength.

I've uploaded pictures of a lotus flower print to show all the color combinations ,and a video to show how it looks as you turn it.

The packaging, while not airtight, did include a moisture-absorbing packet.

Competitiveness

This printed much better than a different brand red filament (adhesion issues).

The silk does seem to perform better than others i’ve tried.
