Pros

Soft, pliable, easy to install. Made a huge difference to my elderly dad who found the hard plastic toilet riser unbearable. Had first one for 5 years. It fells like nothing which is a good thing.

It reminds me of the orthopedic insoles you put in your shoes. They have a chemical smell that is unpleasant at first, but fades away.

Cons

The gel in the cushions burst very easily. It makes a mess all over the floor when they burst. Looking for cushioning, too thin & did not help.
