This oring works great for my model gxwh40l. Fits whole household filter canisters. The old o-ring was fairly badly chewed up during the last filter change, after being reused once.

The kit includes both the o-ring replacement and a small tube of silicone grease. The silicone grease is absolutely necessary in keeping a tight seal. Quality is good and no leaks when installed. I replace mine ever couple of filter changes to ensure ... Read More

This package looks old and sun dried. Totally deceitful. I think the 1-pack and 2-pack option is misleading.

Checked to make sure was the correct o ring was listed for my filter before ordering. Ge’s packaging convenience is now my problem!
