They had been flickering and going on and off for months and i finally got around to looking up replacement parts on amazon

Took about 45 minutes to take the bottom of the microwave apart and remove the old lamp holdersthey were very brittle and just broke apart when i removed them

Took a while to get the wires off the old holders because they were corroded and i was trying to keep from breaking the wire contacts that was the slowest part of the installation

The oe bulb went out within 6 months of use and at that time the only option was to replace it with oe socketbulb combo which costs 30

The oe bulb is gluesoldered into the socket which is a design flaw in my opinion

I tried to change the bulbs under my microwave range and failed

Both bulbs broke because apparently someone thought it would be a good idea to hot glue the bulbs into the sockets
