Pros

Connect my ro unit to my fridge line and no longer needed to pay for expensive filters. Make sure it's turned on, close the freezer door and be patient.

Our water is clean and very good quality, so it really isn't needed.

I teed off of my ro to the fridge and now have great flow with much better water than carbon alone.

This light is off when the door is open.

The product is fine but we had hoped by using this in place of a water filter it would improve the water flow rate.

The filters cost a fortune and do not work very well.

Note that on units that have freezer compartment below french doors the ice maker greenlight only comes on when the freezer door is closed.
