Pros
The good kind with the metal frame. Unlike the flaky parts at the local hardware store. Includes the full metal frame that the cheap knock offs omit. These are factory replacements.
Remove 2 side screws (not the 2 top screws), orient filter open side up, fit filter fins into cover and put in as one unit. I find the frameless filters are installed and uninstalled more easily. Filter is a genuine part.
Cons
All water goes directly down to drain, so humidity is very low in the house. Just wasting water for nothing.

I only replace every two years might make it three but for the price every two is ok
