Pros

Gel stain is very easy to use if you prep correctly, take your time and follow the directions. Didn't rub it out with a rag. You can make the color transparent to a darker brown just by applying more.

Similar results from lowes and home depot. Easy to handle, no dripping, diy friendly. Will use again.

My dated honey oak is now a rich medium brown. The color is even and the wood grain shows through. The finish is beautiful.

Cons

Product is not eligible for return so be careful ordering during warm months. I waited and waited. And waited. Very disappointed and it can't be returned.

The stain looks darker than what's on the can or the picture of colonial maple on maple on the website. I am very disappointing that the very think stain went on like syrup and the color was close to tar with a little reddish color.
