It automatically switches the input port to whichever device turns on first and if you turn on a second device and then turn off the first it automatically switches to the second device

It switches automatically initially but have to manually switch once all devices are powered up

This is a plain jane unit that does what it says press the button and it changes the input from one device to the other

Bought it to have my ps3 and pstv on the same monitor thinking id have to use the manual switch only to discover that one switches to the dominant signal when turned on

When your machines are powered off as soon as you power one up the switcher will automatically jump to it without having to select it manually
