Pros

Chill neck cooling ring is not perfect, but it is worth a try. The cooling effect seems to last, depending on the heat temperature. This is an excellent product to wear when hiking, running or walking.

Simply place the collar in the freezer and use as needed. It comes out of the refrigerator ice cold and stays cold for quite a long time.

Cons

I can only use this product for two months, which is kind of ludicrous at the price point. Do not buy. Requesting a refund.

Gel is supposed to go from liquid to solid. Itfreezes up when you put it in the freezer. Put it back in a cooler full of ice and water and again same thing. They never soften up or cool down.

I worry about how much i have to bend it when it’s frozen. I think the possibility of rupture could be minimized if it were just made so that the top 2-3 inches were not filled but left as strictly sealed off plastic/wax material. After take out of fr... Read More

This is an excellent product to wear when hiking, running or walking, or anytime you want or need to cool down.

I left mine in the freezer too long once and it froze hard and then i was unable to open it enough to get it on my neck.

I lost track of time and didn't get it out until 20 had passed and it was frozen rock solid.

Packaging/appearance

Apart from the packaging issue, this is great!

Deducting one star as my package arrived already opened.

It stated on the package that it would be frozen in 10 minutes.

I'll definitely be packing it for amusement parks and travel in general.
