Just took my old broken screen off, disconnected the lvds display cable, and slapped on the new screen!
Works greatthe screen does have 1 dead pixel but the description did warn of this so it's nothing to remove a star over as i was warned.

I had some trouble with then mounting holes as the actual mounting pieces were closer to the lcd than the aod257s

I am lucky though because the one pixel is alone and very very hard to see with its tiny size

Replacing this screen of an eeepc is not something which you can do without some technical skills and patience but it can be done

Just be sure that you keep all the brackets and screws of your old screen you need them to mount the new one
