Pros

Manufacturer should be rewarded for putting a quality product on the market for a good price. Arrived packaged well. I just use it for little projects around the house, benches, planter boxes,little tables.

Even with the 60-tooth blade that's included, the cuts are pretty clean. Blade is very good and has cut 2x4s and 2x6s cleanly with no bogging down. The laser seems dead on to center of cut and can be moved to your preference.

Good for angled cuts and beveled cuts. There were a few flaws in the craftsman ship compared to some products but workable.

It's light enough for me to pick up yet very sturdy. Is compact and light enough to move but does the job. I have a large sliding compound miter saw on a beautiful stablemate stand.

Cons

The guard got ripped off and flung into the machine. Any angled cuts or longer cuts the motor began smoking. And lastly, don't ever bother with angled or beveled cuts.
