Pros & Cons
Pros
It's not the quietest fan on the block, but it makes up for it with volume of cooler air brought in from outdoors. Having a rotary dial rather than push *, i think it may have a longer life span. The only downside is that it is loud.
First impressions are good. Purchased another for our bedroom. Only complaint is that we paid full price for a product that had been opened and possibly used.
It does an excellent job of cleaning the air on exhaust or cooling the air. It works great for either * or blowing. The exhaust setting heats the room somewhat.
Fan fits perfectly in our window inside the screen so no need to use the extenders. The colour is a bright white which looks nice in the window and fits in place even with my screen still in; so no bugs. The only issue i have with this fan is the fact... Read More
The fan has a 9 inch blade and can cool down a 14'x12' room. The fan can run at up to 60 mph. The rpm of the fan can be adjusted to suit the room's temperature. It can also be used to blow cool air into the room from the outside.
Cons
High-pitched whine on low and medium settings. Also intermittent power loss. Slider to switch from fan to exhaust very stiff and difficult to move.
Highlights
Quality
It is made with quality in mind.
Works well, moves air, 3 speeds and temp regulator
We have super old veritcle sliding windows and i was worried this wouldn't fit.
Having this fan exhaust air out causes air from other open windows to be sucked into the apartment.
Price
Wow i was going to return this as found something similar at homedepot for $45.
Quite expensive though, they shouldn't have added a thermometer in it to keep the cost down.
Overall, i'd say it's a great fan for the money!
Competitiveness
Much better than other models on the market.
I tried others but this one out does others on the market.
