The infuser is made from a food safe silicone in a cheery red color. The tea has no weird taste. My coworkers always asks if it's a lollipop.

This is great for my sword-loving chamomile tea drinking son. It's great for tea with big chunks- a lot of teavana teas work pretty well in here. I also would love to give them out with a mug and some tea as christmas gifts.

The octeapus is very aesthetically cute, but not very practical. Cute novelty item but not at all practical. Not worth that much money when so cheaply made.
