Pros

Works great and doesn’t smell like 3-month-old corned beef and cabbage! Still running strong, just needed a replacement seal or two.

They work beautifully! They are as heavy and flexible as the original. They are sturdy and arrived quickly.

More than one blogger had recommended owning multiples. Fits my 3qt as it should. Ip brand was the best deal.

This product is amazing. Can't ask for more. A color is personal choice. Price is good. Worth the extra $.

Cons

The pressure no longer builds up. These have two extra notches in them that causes them to not seal. Scalding hot vapor escapes from the sides of the lid and sputters from the rear valves.

Only good thing from this fiasco is that my ip is sparkling clean now. Returning to amazon for refund.

This does not leak, comes with two of them and are easy to install and remove.

I almost threw my instant pot away because it was losing all it’s liquid and steaming around the whole pot when on, felt like a hazard.

Now we have two to rotate especially when we're cooking dishes back-to-back.

Packaging/appearance

They came in a very nice box with the instant pot logo on it.

The rings i received did not have the cutouts pictured in the listing and look just like the ring that came with my ip.

I store the rings in the box along with a silicone lid i purchased to use with my 3 qt.

Competitiveness

I tried another brand but, despite very good reviews for the larger instant pots, they didn't work at all in my 3 qt.
