Pros & Cons
Pros
Original product, affordable - all good. Perfect replacement. The only thing i regret is that i waited so long to order. Same as oem.
It's a little tricky undoing the old mirror. New mirror re-uses the mounting bracket already glued to the windshield. Installed in just a few minutes with the help of a small screwdriver.
Cons
That’s glued to your windshield, this is not the it.
Highlights
Quality
Nothing wrong with the quality and value of the item.
Perfect fit and half the price of the "correct" model number replacement for the mx-5.
If you need the one with the mount that’s glued to your windshield, this is not the it.
Price
Took it to mazda service center, and the labor cost was about $300.
Competitiveness
Fits and looks like original in my 08 mx-5 miata as i expected it would, since it's a genuine mazda item,
I recently bought a 1996 mazda miata that did not have a rearview mirror.
