Pros & Cons
Pros
Came in factory packaging. Fits like oem. Oem parts cheaper than the dealership.
Fixed the engine light issue by swapping this. Code is for a medium leak. Popped this in, cleared my codes, and haven't had an issue since.
I wish it was cheaper but am quite satisfied with the product. Works and snaps right in.
Cons
The part broken after 1 week of using. No good. Need to pay return label cost.
Highlights
Quality
I wish it was cheaper but am quite satisfied with the product.
Will verify this was the fix for the evap leak code.
Price
I am very happy to get this gas cap fast and very reasonable price.
Packaging/appearance
Was getting an engine light because of fumes.
Competitiveness
Used this to replace my cap on a 2007 mazda 3
I'm happy that it fits and cheaper than your local dealership.
Lesson is if you get an evap code just buy oem stuff.
I was dreading the idea of spending the money for the $400 fix (my local mech's price).
