Fit right in the end of the tail pipe at the exhaust manifold. I suppose you could just connect a flex pipe, but you really need the give that the spring bolts provide for long-term vibration and wear.

Make sure youre replacing the manifold to catalytic converter gasket as it wont fit any of the other flanges

If you have to replace your catalytic converter on your 20042009 prius this is not an option literally there are no other options all the aftermarket parts are the wrong size
