Pros

Replacement for my 2010 prius. This is the same oem part that the dealership uses. The number of pleats are a few less than the current air filter in my 2015 prius (4 model) but everything else looks the same.

The higher quality as compared to the filter i picked up at autozone is noticeable. Can't beat the price for oem product. Fits like a glove.

If your toyota is still under warranty, you absolutely must use genuine parts, otherwise you’ll void warranty.

Can't complain, and the price is good.

This was easy to install in my 2011 prius and was half the cost of what those oil change places charge to replace it.

This filter should cost half what they charge…

Save the $45 labor charge at the dealer.

Shipping

It came quickly and fits nicely in my prius.

I was shipped the other one (17801-yzz12).

Didn’t like that it took a week to get it.

Packaging/appearance

Genuine, came in a "toyota" box stamped on the side.

New, in the box toyota air filter, with same makings, etc.

Arrived in oem packaging and taped closed which seems a bit odd since they aren’t taped closed from the dealership.

Competitiveness

I was using some other cheap brand i found on amazon and thought my mpg was because of the hybrid system ageing.

Other brands will work, but i'm prone to manufacturer parts when available.
