This is very much the high quality oem toyota/lexus part and my pic shows my oem original vs the new part.

Installed in my 2006 tundra (2uz-fe) about 8 months ago with the timing belt/water pump and it’s still working perfectly.

They are not made out of brass anymoreyour thermostat fails you can trash your engine very quickly

Bought and was completely defective , doesn’t even look like the one in my car, probably not a genuine toyota part.

It did not come with a gasket, so make sure to order a gasket.

This toyota/lexus thermostat (made by kuzeh) is heavier-duty than the last one i installed, that common aftermarket brand we all know.

It's pricey, compared to the aftermarket thermostats, but if you have a toyota, this is the only one to use.
