Pros & Cons
Pros
Denso 17801-21060 filter fits 2017 or newer prius/prius prime with 1. Dealer part without the dealer part guy hassle. Way cheaper than dealer places online. Perfect, used on a 2017 prius.
Highlights
Quality
This filter fit perfectly and was easy to install.
Identical filter to the original- 2016 prius (three)
Takes 5 mins or less and no tools to replace.
After installing in my 2012 prius c at 30k miles and trashing the old one, my mpg's shot up to 60 immediately!
Price
It was about 30% of the cost from the dealer and so easy to install, i did it!
Save lots of $$ over what my dealership wanted to charge.
Saved $80 by diy and not getting it done at the dealer.
Auto zone tried to get me to pay almost $60.
Shipping
This product was easy to install and came in quick.
Packaging/appearance
(that included opening up package and hood of car).
Competitiveness
I think a better business model would be to sell them at a loss, to get people into the dealer and tempt them to buy a new car.
