However i was extremely disappointed to receive this new model which looks very cheap the hinge does not allow the top lid to be lowered enough to hover above the food but will sit on top of the food and the steak we tried to cook tonight we found the grill wasnt hot enough to browngrill and it turned out pasty and not grilled
