Really the only drawback is that when storing there is nothing to keep the grill from swinging open which is very awkward to handle

My previous foreman grills had metal plates that never really got clean no matter what i did

Since lack of space dictates that i have to store it at an angle its annoying that the top doesnt stay closed when the grill is laid flat
