Pros
To this day it remains one of only two items that have survived a house fire and flood. Operates a lot like my old one but with some improvements. The only difference with this new one is that it gets considerably hotter than our old one.
It cooks so great - no smoking at all. Cooks evenly, drains fat away and is quick and easy. It cooks the bacon perfectly, but doesn't shrivel it nearly as much as when i fry bacon in a pan.
Clean up is simple. Use a small spray bottle with water and letting that sit for a few makes clean up easier, especially after cooking items with marinade on them. Treat it like teflon though.
Bought this to replace an extremely old version of a george foreman grill. I love george forman grills this is the 3rd one i have owned and by far the best one. The grill works perfectly.
I hope everyone can enjoy this little gem for as long as i have. Super value. Works wonderfully. This is perfect and much cheaper on amazon.
Cons
It is now april 2018 and it has stopped working. The new grill * because it stopped heating is such a short time. It gives no clue as to the means to change the temperature!

The new one rated here is well made but the cooking surface is smaller and limits the number of bacon strips i can cook simultaneously which is a minor irritation

Additionally unlike its predecessor the grilling surface has hot zones and cooler zones resulting in uneven cooking

It removes a lot of fat but somehow i end up with twice as much cooked bacon when i grill it on the foreman vs when i use a regular pan
