Pros

The ceramic plates are easy to clean. The temperature control along with a thermometer makes grilling so easy. The lack of the last generation's pronounced jaws at the drainage end of the grill means that sometimes, burgers or steak edges are underdon... Read More

It cleans *marvelously*. There is a small rim around the edge of the lower cooking plate that sometimes gets dirty.

The digital thermostat is quite helpful, even if i generally see 460-475f at the top grill plate on sear instead of the reported 500f. Heat distribution is even and reliable. It almost cooks too fast on the lowest temperature, but i've found my style.... Read More

Cons

After 5 mins. This problem is sporadic sometimes fine but not all the time. They tell me i can't return a defective product no. Still the problem persists.

It works, but it’s sub optimal.

It's probably ok for panini, but i make those about once a year. Usually soaked first, so very little scrubbing at all. The searing function seems to shorten the life of the ceramic plates so i avoid using it if possible.
