Pros & Cons

Pros

It's so light and slim and sometimes forget i even have it on me. It's not so expensive that you'd worry about ruining it. The pattern on the handle gives it better grip.

Under $19 shipped, and paid around $60 for mine. These are good components and it it is a shame that they are shoddily assembled. The quality is still there, as is the ability to take a razor edge in a thin, easily carried design.

It is an easy knife to flick open and closed without using the thumb stud. The liner lock puts the nail of your thumb in the correct spot to prevent the blade from flopping closed on your fingers.

The blade seems durable and i wouldn't hesitate to put it through some tough chores. In fact i like when a blade shows use. It's big enough to cut up a small watermelon quickly.

Cons

Compared to other gerber knives this is too light and imbalanced for any real work or use. The pocket clip is insanely tight and combined with the textured aluminum makes it very difficult to clip onto your pocket.

Quality

The quality is still there, as is the ability to take a razor edge in a thin, easily carried design.

With the nice clip and this super grippy handle texture.

I would like to get an older model with the fine edge only to see how it works.

With the slimness of this knife, people don't freak-out even if they see it clipped within your pocket.

Price

The best part is that for the price i don't really mind if something happens to it.

Competitiveness

I have owned one for over a decade.

Love the 1st one, hate the 2nd.

It could only be better if it afforded 4-way adjustable carry clip positioning.
