Pros

The sheath is of great quality, with a built in sharpener and fire rod. The knife snaps in and fits perfectly. The fire starter works quite well, but the rod is rather difficult to get out of the sheath.

For a survival knife this one is up there with the best of them. It seems to be well made and durable. All in all, pretty nice package.

Cons

The fire starter is horrifically small compared to others in its class. The sheath digs into your hip and theres no way to adjust it not to. It's not a bad knife it's just not a very good knife or suited to woodwork.

The whistle is a total joke. I eagerly open the box and the excitement died.

Great full tang construction, well built, sharp n tested!

Excellent knife i like the newer design from the previous model, knife feels solid and well built.

Fire starter makes nice big sparks and i got a fire going within ten minutes.

10-20 pulls is all the velcro will take before it doesn't hold anymore.

Price

The message here is: for the price, this knife has everything i need for the tasks at hand.

For the price, this is a great fixed blade knife.

I guess being on a budget and having to leave it in my cart so long paid off!

The pros definitely outweigh the cons and i'm especially thrilled i got it at a reduced price of $50.
