Pros & Cons
Pros
Great to use for wiping dust off handbells. Used to embroider for baby burp cloths. Easy to wash.
Cons
The packaging was written on prior to me receiving it (pictured). These were cheaply made.
Thin, lots of puckers, not that soft. Not meant for baby diapering. These are very thin and do shirk considerably when washed.
Received 3 plain pieces of cotton fabric, unsewn. Washed once and shrunk to third of size. When washed the shrank excessively, loosing a third of the size. Recieved 2 3-ply prefolds, 3 partially assembled 2-ply prefolds and 5 gauze squares.
Highlights
Quality
These by far are the best burp cloths i’ve found, absorbent and easy to clean.
Very good quality - i used to make designer spittys for babies - they wash well
Once i washed and dried these, the cloth became quite rumpled and destroyed the shape from rectangle to off center.
These were recommended to me to use as burp cloths and nothing comes close to the absorbency of these cloths.
Price
Good price for the amount you get.
A dozen at this price is a steal.
Competitiveness
They are way better than cloths that are marketed as burp cloths, way more absorbent, and they are bigger and cheaper.
I ironed every piece and found them to be a bit thinner than previous gerber brand cloth diapers.
