The knife's overall design and balance have also received positive feedback from users who appreciate its durability and suitability for outdoor activities.
Blade Sharpness

Sheath Quality
Customers have generally positive opinions about the Gerber Blades Big Rock's sheath, with some expressing satisfaction over its toughness and lightweight design, while others find it lacking in quality. The sheath is described as secure, non-reflective, and suitable for para cord or lanyards. However, a few customers have criticized the sheath as being of poor quality.
Highlights
Quality
This knife is well designed and meets the need for a solid, all around field knife.
Pick your style, it will be high quality.
It does not hold the blade securely enough, which allows the knife to shake back and forth causing a clacking sound.
This is a very beefy feeling knife that should stand up to the worst abuse you could throw at it.
Price
Best bang for your buck knife on the market.
I just bought my second one at right around the $25 price point- and i will probably buy more.
Must have been when this knife first came out cause i paid top dollar ($40.
Seeing it here on amazon for only $22.
Competitiveness
For a sub $25 knife you can't complain and it's superior to sheaths i've seen on other knives in this price range.
As effective and more so than other blades that cost much more, so i have more than one.
