Pros & Cons
Pros
Package opener works a treat. Knife blade isn't razor sharp but it's sharp enough for jobs i've used it for. Screwdrivers seem to work quite happily. Scissor and bottle opener work well.
Cons
The gerber dime micro stainless steel multi tool in my opinion is misleading, poorly manufactured, missing essential outdoor tools and as such over priced. Returning it is out of the question, the postage fees are prohibitive. It's essentially a cheap... Read More
The supposedly phillip head screwdriver is terrible for phillips heads. The straight screwdriver was ok but the plyers are rubbish. They are bent and can't even cut paper.
The blade is ok but it's an unusual shape, blunt point & isn't really sharp. The only thing that i like is the little blade for opening plastic packaging. The lack of can opener and saw toothed blade is disappointing, though i knew they were not f... Read More
Not good on flexible cable or cable ties, a characteristic of many by-pass cutter designs even on quality tools. After a squeeze of the pliers handles, one of the handles bent and part of the mechanism that holds the tool together also bent & popp... Read More
The file is completely useless even as a nail-file, partly texture, partly size and partly co-location with the lanyard ring. Whenever i put any kind of pressure on the blade it just flips open further. The nail file is just a few lines scored on a mi... Read More
Highlights
Quality
However you can't fault the quality and they seem pretty tough and have proven useful on many occasions.
The quality of it makes it a must have, the pliers are great and the scissors actually work really well.
, the one with the wire stripper .
I’d read some poor reviews about the build quality of the dime but i can honestly say, the one i ordered is well made.
Price
For the price, i honestly don't think you could ask for more.
Packaging/appearance
Sturdy, nice finish, really good springs, sharp blades, the packaging opener is a great idea, great grips, does what it says really.
Competitiveness
Knife has held out remarkably well, especially considering gerber's love of weak steel.

They are looking pretty scratched and worn now simply due to the constant carrying around in pockets but continue to prove useful for a number of duties
