Many of these types of knives have dicey (pun partly intended) ones, where your fingers are at risk every time you want to use them.

For the money, i think it is the best bang for you buck.

The one thing i would change on this knife is the thumb mechanism to open the blade

It takes firm consistent pressure and my thumb to open it onehanded as i often have to do on an emergency call since my other hand is holding a tool or a patient or something and has slipped a few times and nearly cut myself and once i dropped the knife and it clicked fully open when it hit the floor and bounced up open towards my leg…

My father gave me one of his which had a smooth blade and i found that to be unable to cut some of the things i came into contact with often so i knew i needed either a serrated or partially serrated blade
