Pros

The winter soldier uses this knife in a great knife fight sequence with captain america about halfway thru the movie. He is an expert of unconventional guerrilla warfare and jungle expert.

Overall its a cheap flimsy piece of *. Gerber used to be a great cutlery company. What a disappointment. It is yet another example of a large company buying a quality manufacturer then cashing in on there legacy cheaply.

This knife comes very very dull. The etching for the blade markings (s/n, brand name, etc) isn't properly aligned and looks like the person tasked with etching was either hung over or cross eyed. The steel is lesser and does not sharpen as well as my ... Read More

Very happy with the sheath and multiple attachment points.

I guess i was just expecting the quality of how gerber made knives 15 years ago.

You can tell the quality has dropped off from previous generations.

Price

The price i paid for it was much better then the price i would've paid buying from gerber .

Packaging/appearance

This knife is incredibly sharp coming right out of the box.

She managed to cut herself with it in the first 3 minutes, so i can definitely say its sharp as hell right out of the box.

Competitiveness

That said, this is a high-quality knife, which feels absolutely amazing.

My seccond one, replacing a 1970 model.

I tried using a manual sharpner but that didn’t work very well.
