The auto-lock function is what sells me on the fast over the auto. The blade opens swiftly and without issue. The spring loaded blade works well, but the button safety lock is a little stiff.

Great knife, durable, holds an edge, and easily sharpened. The combo edge is the best for utility use and has stayed very sharp.

This is my second one since i lost my first one to airport security (oops). Worth every dollar. Never broke. Never lost edge or chipped blade. I always keep one amd have a backup ready in the sock drawer.

The lock/unlock device was so annoying i got rid of it. The locking button is difficult to push and slide to release and not worth the money. The top bolster guard is not positioned ergonomically.

This knife is dross at best. I have other sog knives that are better quality and materials. Kershaw and crkt make much better knives for half the price. Buy a kershaw or pony up for the american made version of this knife.

Tanto is way over priced and poorly engineered and made. Completely inexcusable for this brand and price. Won't buy again.
