Pros

It has all essential tools and the fast deployed pliers are the best of any multitool.

Pliers are surprisingly wide, which i need for my work which involves working on pipes for faucets. Better than leatherman pliers. The one handed open feature is absolutely fantastic.

Made of stamped, stainless steel, it is very sturdy. Will last many years.

Cons

It is almost inoperable and now sits on a shelf. It's pretty much worthless now. Trying to talk to the seller is a joke.

The spring clip that holds the detent pins that operate the retraction is really a problem when it disappears in rough duty. It simply slides out.

Extremely stiff operation on the new 600.

Price

Not an expert on multi tool pliers but, amazing for how much i paid for it.

I bought this multi tool in a pawn shop in kilgore texas about 10 years ago for 20 bucks.

I think i just had to pay shipping.

Packaging/appearance

It does come with a nice sheath although it is not shown or mentioned in the ad.

Competitiveness

The only difference is that gerber no longer stamps this multitool 'usa'.
