Pros & Cons
Pros
Best multi-tool on the market. Saves you from having to having a multitude of single tools strapped to your sides. Not as heavy or bulky as the oht however.
Gerber 600 multi-tool comes with a serrated knife blade and a pair of scissors. The serrated blade makes it good for cutting multiple types of materials. The black cutting blade is interchangeable with standard *-saw blades. The wire cutter actually c... Read More
The handles are comfy to grip and the locks work very well. One-hand, wrist-flick opening rules over the competition.
Great product. Good price. Works as advertised.
Use 1 hand to retrieve tool from belt pouch, fling it open and use the plied. Comes with one adapter, three straight screwdriver bits, three phillips screwdriver bit.
Cons
Come on. Stay away from this listing. It’s not genuine gerber, and if somehow it is, gerber must be trying to push off a cheaper version to make more profits. Takes several attempts to slide closed very dissatisfied.
The gerber multitool mp 600 is well made, but several generations behind leatherman wave. The tools are not at all readily accessible. You have to deploy thepliers, which as i mention above is no easy motion.

Always quality with gerber brand, best multi-plier i have had.
Don't expect it to replace a good quality toolkit.
But of course the tool doesn't fit fully into the belt pouch with the pliers out, so it is at risk of being lost or knocked out.
Price
The price may seem a little high compared to others but it is worth it.
For my use that is what a multi-tool is all about.
Packaging/appearance
There is a quarter-inch gap between the handles when the pliers are retracted, the plier tips don't retract all the way into th... Read More
Competitiveness
One-hand, wrist-flick opening rules over the competition.
In this capacity i am drawing a line between a multi-tool and a survival or emergency tool.
If the other tools were not so darn stiff to open, or if they had devised a better means of getting a grip on them (c'mon gerber.
On some competitor's tools the tip is squared off a little which allows it do double duty as a small straight or phillips screw... Read More

I figured i would try it because gerber is a good name and i like the flick open pliers

Well they need to loosen up and be oiled before they flick easily and there is still a trick to it

I also dont like how you have to open the pliers to get to the tools inside

The idea of a saw that takes jigsaw blades is a good concept but the blade they give you is not all that good for cutting things like wood since it is an abrasive saw
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
And all the blades lock when opened
