Pros

The gerber gear shard keychain is a fantastic multi-tool that i carry with me everywhere. It is extremely sturdy and durable with a great design and used almost daily. There are nine tools in one that function well.

It’s very versatile and helps with a lot of household as well as outdoor activities. It's compact and lightweight, making it easy to attach to my keychain. Not bad a keychain holder.

This one is awesome. Just wow. Has a nice patina now. I kinda wanna get the other color one now too haha!

Cons

The shard is compact and sturdy, but some of the tools aren't very useful. Rusted and is poor quality. First of all the ergonomics aren't good.

The phillips screwdriver is too small for medium to large screws. The philips head is short & shallow so it slips out of most screw heads easily.

Bottle opener works ok, but how hard is that? Opens bottles awkwardly. Worst part is the bottle opener is cocked sideways.

No blade, has the bare minimum for a flat/pry bar, and you can still bring hex bits with you for what the screwdriver can't handle.

Last weekend i dropped the transmission out of my f-150, rebuilt it and re-installed using only the gerber shard and some red loctite.

Priced right, cool tool that has many uses including gifting.

Works every bit as well as most of the fancy titanium edc pry tools at a fraction of the cost.

Prybar / phillips / flathead / bottle openergreat inexpensive edc tool to slap on your keychain or gift to someone.

At 20 bucks it's a good deal.

Packaging/appearance

I open packages and bottles with it, screw on loose knobs on drawers, etc.

I have used it mostly for opening amazon boxes containing other cool edc stuff.

Competitiveness

For comparison, i also have the nite ize doohickey and i like the gerber better just for the heftiness.

The product is awesome but the shipping and communication from mq hub llc was even better!
