Pros

Good edge and good serration. The serrated edge is sharp and so is the blade. It took me a little longer to sharpen, the steel seems a little harder than some of my other knives.

The sheath actually has 3 retaining a piece of nylon that snaps across the handle, the hilt clicks into the base of the sheath, and there is a stretchy cup that covers the whole pommel. The tip is very thick and is perfect for penetrating tough object... Read More

The blade thickness makes it very robust. The ergonomic handle fits well in my hand.

Camo sheath is a tight fit. It has a belt loop in the back as well as molle straps. Knife feels very secure while fully locked and strapped in. By the way it only comes with one leg strap but it can be mounted on just about anything.

The quality and craftsman is no surprise coming from gerber. It's tailored to the urban jungle. Lives on my camelbak for mtn bike riding.

Cons

The package indicates 420hc. Perhaps it counterfeit. The steel for the blade is way too thick. Felt terrible in my hand.

Heavy weight, durable and has the handy glass breaker as well.

Slicing open pre fab units, cutting ropes, and even gently prying sideways on the knife to separate wooden braces screwed into sheet metal.

I need to give most blades a good sharpening (i'm very particular about my edges) but this thing was dangerously sharp.

For the price, this was a great deal.

This is a high value knife that i would buy again.

All and all, for the money there a good line of knives.

The prodigy line is a good pedigree of knives for the $$.
