Pros
Firefighter uses this to cut rope, seatbelt, and field dressing wild game. Bought another to keep in the car as originally intended. Installed one on each side of my jeep tj. Better than burning alive in a vehicle rollover.
Cons
The sheath however is disappointing. I have my doubts that the malice clip would fit on my tactical vest. Cutting future is dull.

This is a good value and worth having as it may help save a life.

Blade came out of the package with oil still on it which i have never seen.
Came with attachments to strap to molle vest.
Competitiveness
I usually stay away from gerber products as they tend not to last as long as some of their competitors.
Ordered this gerber along with two of its more expensive competitors.

The officer stated it was a great tool to use to cut the seatbelt of a trapped occupant of a wrecked vehicle because the cutting blade is guarded and it wont cut the person who is trapped

We generally have children in the car with us and i figured it would be dangerous to use a knife to cut them loose from their seatbelts in a chaotic situation where i may be i may be injured

I put a hook and loop on the back of the holder of it and the other end of the hook and loop onto the door pillar
