Pros

Knife is very sharp and slices through animal hide, meat, and tendons very easily. Still needed a heavier knife for some of the tougher cuts. Processed and entire elk without a saw at 11,000 feet.

It's very simple to change out the blades and has a slick design. The blade lock is the best and has one of the easiest releases for the blade.

This little gadget is quite amazing. Keep in tackle box or hunting vest.

The blades are razor sharp, literally a scalpel. For what it's for, i find it to be a darned fine cutting tool.

It is extremely lightweight and more durable than it looks. Very sturdy and light weight. The blade is thin (thickness) but feels strong enough for any task.

Cons

The whole knife is around 4 1/4 inch folded. Unfortunately the blade securing mechanism is poorly designed. The rubberized grip is too close to the blade and causes the rubber to get nicked.

With the havalon i never liked changing blades when my hands were slick and bloody because it's dangerous without using pliers.

I'm still using havalon blades with the gerber vital.

Happy with this product but seems the blade seems to break easy.
