Used this to pit about 10 lbs of cherries. Hasn't reduced the utility of the pitter at all. Although not 100% pit removal very handy, useful tool for pitting lots of cherry.

If a cherry didn’t put properly probably because i didn’t place it properly i had to eat the cherry vs put it the pie

I found that if it is not seated exactly right small pieces of the plastic outside will break off
