Pros

Floating shelf gives the illusion of space in an otherwise small room. The shelf is very sturdy. It is not too long or too deep but it will hold 50 pounds. It looks very nice, durable, and does what i wanted for the look.

This shelf had lots and lots of screws, but, as it turned out, many of them were for the hanging brackets, which we didn't use.

I used the large opening in the front to slide my dvr contraption into it, and now i'm not looking at wires any more.

Price

I felt it was a very good economic value as well.

The shelf is fantastic, especially for the price.

We bought an extra board for about $12 and mounted that to the wall, on the studs.

Packaging/appearance

It covered up my ugly wires, and it provided a nice compartment for my dvr box.
