I wanted a bed frame with slats that my (incredibly heavy, 8, made for beds) futon mattress would sit on top of. This is also not a huge concern, as i feel like the gassing is minimum since there is no plush fabric headboard etc.

The bed has the perfect amount of clearance underneath for cleaning and discrete storage if you like to use totes. The 14-inch height offers ample storage space underneath. The dark brown color is perfect and matching the other bedroom furniture.

The last step involves laying down the slats(4 sections) in each half of the frame. The slats are connected together in groups of seven each.

Cons

Solid wood" frame is laminated and looks like puzzle pieces of laminate. This bed is so wobbly, my son is only 5 and the screws keep popping out. Save your money and buy better quality frame.

I got swindled and advise you to look elsewhere. It is shameful what they did. Requested to return to seller, awaiting their response.
